We live with one foot in heaven. Our link to this dimension is found in the Minds of our Souls. The Mind of Soul is a consciousness beyond our awareness not tethered to the linguistic symbols of the spoken word. It exists beyond the boundary of space/time and is one with the Consciousness we call God. It is our true identity that, as one with the God-head, has no beginning and no end. It is God disguised as us as this infinite transcendental Being experiences, as us, the limitations of finite existence. We are God Immanent, engaged in the transformational process of regaining our Divine consciousness. We are Divinity, enveloped in the linear thinking process of the space/time dimension and bound by the emotional pathos of joy and sorrow, love and fear. This is the backstage of the reality we refer to as human existence. The Mind of Soul is the vantage point from which we observe and evaluate thought, feelings and the sensory input processed by our biological brains. It is the catalyst of the universal quest for truth and beauty and finds its peace in the unifying power of love.
The Gospel of Thomas is a “Sayings Gospel” a copy of which was discovered in Nag Hammadi, Egypt in 1945. It is considered to be a precursor of the synoptic Gospels and includes some sayings not included on Matthew, Mark, or Luke. Saying 42 is “Become a passerby.”
